Day Care
Care & Support - Our Charity has over 20 years experience of providing Day Care and our services are monitored and supported by both the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hull City Councils. (Social Services/ environmental Health and Monitoring Departments.)
All of our efforts, aims and objectives relate to providing the best quality service we can and this is only restricted by the resources we can secure in terms of Funding, Volunteers, Facilities, Community and Agency Support.
Our staff and volunteers are trained and experienced in supporting the needs of the Elderly and have the necessary skills and abilities to provide the care and support required when providing Day Care Services. They are carefully selected and provide support with the following tasks,
Meals - A two-course meal plus tea & Coffee etc. and other refreshments are available. Thereby providing the means for older people who may struggle to cook for themselves to receive a healthy and nutritional meal in a caring, supportive, pleasant and “community” environment. All meals are freshly produced and the best quality products are always used.
Activities – Games & Activities: Bingo, tombolas, dominoes, cards, plus memory jogging activities, entertainment, music, reading, discussions, events and other activities. Helping to keep the mind active and to provide an enjoyable pastime and a rewarding experience for all.

Transport - Our bus provides some of the transport, especially for those who use a wheelchair and those who have walking difficulties and there is a helper to escort the older person from their home to the bus and at the centre.
