Community Centre & Resources – Our Centre has facilities and amenities available (including Activity and Meeting Rooms, Kitchen, Sensory Garden etc.) that enable Voluntary & Community groups to us the centre to meet locally, to organise activities, events and supporting the development of networks and new community initiatives. Providing equipment and support required enabling groups to develop and grow.

This support encourages local people to setup, establish and develop their groups and increase their membership and this in turn strengthens the local community and provides a focal point for further improvements locally.

Training/ Meeting Room - some training equipment is also available.

A Venue for local People – Providing a venue for local individuals and families to organise Community Events etc using the centre as a venue.

A Meeting Place – (Day Care) bringing together older people from different backgrounds, to socialise, share experiences, meet new people, to get involved, learn from each other, share memories, develop friendships & contacts and to play a more active role in their communities.

To help tackle the feeling of being isolated, especially for those without families or people who they can turn to.

Staff & Volunteers also provide time for people to talk through their worries, concerns and personal difficulties and gain from the caring, understanding and patient response they receive.
