Charity Aims & Objectives
Aims & Objectives of the charity.
a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Anlaby and surrounding districts (hereinafter called ‘The Area of Benefit’) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance Education and provide facilities in the interests of Social Welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.
b) To establish, or secure the establishment of, a community centre (hereinafter called ‘The Centre’) and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or other person or body) in furtherance of these objects.
The Association shall be non-party politics and non-sectarian in religion.
The Main Aims & Objectives are to help to improve the Quality of Life and to Make A Positive Difference To The Lives of the Elderly & Disabled who depend on us for Help, Care, Friendship, Practical and Emotional Support, Meals and Activities.
Those who benefit most are those who are lonely, feel isolated, struggle to cope, have difficulties looking after themselves and need to share experiences and know that they are in a safe, caring and friendly environment.
