We come to the end of another year, one wonders were the time goes. We are fortunate enough to meet some new friends and enjoy their company. I often think of those that are no longer with us and miss them, but have fond memories of time spent together.
This could only happen in the right atmosphere and to that end we owe our gratitude to the staff and volunteers who work so hard on our behalf and very often go that extra mile. One example was when the bus broke down, how fortunate we are to have such dedicated people.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank East Riding Social Services and also Hull City Social Services for their continued support and long may it continue.
We had some donations from people whose loved ones had passed on and it is so gratifying that they thought of the centre at such a sad time.
I would like to thank the members for their support and assure them that we will do our utmost to make their visits to the centre a happy one.
