Anlaby Community Care Association

We are a non-profit-making Registered Charity (Number 512254) which aims to provide Care and Support for the Elderly in the local community, giving help wherever possible and providing a focal point for community activities.

We function as a Day Care Centre providing lunches and activities for the elderly. We have a dedicated mini-bus with wheelchair access to transport some of the service users to and from the Centre, plus for Shopping and Social Trips.

We also act as a Community Centre, with rooms being used by many local groups/ clubs and organisations including: Mums and Tots, Bobbins & Lacemaking, Decoupage, Card Creators, Music and Arts Clubs, ERYC Baby Massage and Support Groups, Bingo Club, Slimming World and The Anlaby with Anlaby Common Parish Council.

Our Centre is very much a Resource for the Local Community and a Focal Point for many other groups and agencies involved in the Anlaby, Hessle, Willerby, Kirkella and surrounding areas.

We also have some Training Equipment and a smaller Training/ Meeting Room that is often available with notice.

Local groups can use the rooms/ facilities and amenities on a regular basis or for one-off events/ training sessions/ meetings or get-togethers.

A small contribution towards the cost of Heating/ lighting/ water and use of the Kitchen area and equipment is required.

Land at the rear of the Centre has been Transformed into a Sensory Garden, to provide a peaceful, tranquil place that helps so many who use the Centre to enjoy and apprecaite the benefits of plants, flowers, trees, grass etc. and this also promotes Health and relaxation.
